One of our traditional stops on The Road to Macworld is to talk to Brian Rothschild, the Executive Director and Founder of The John Lennon Educational Tour Bus, The bus will once again have a commanding presence at Macworld Conference & Expo, and Brian talks about their newest partner and this year’s featured artist, afro-fusion band Liyana. The story of this this Zimbabwe-based group of musicians is compelling; Brian explains some of the challenges they have overcome to bring their music to the world, and why he is particularly pleased to have them associated with both the John Lennon Bus and Macworld. Brian also discusses how the bus continues to spread the messages of John Lennon, and what it brings to young people interested in expressing themselves through various forms of media.
