When the iPhone App Store premiered, there was talk of a Mac App Store and now it is here…but not from Apple. Bodega is the brand new application store that aims to give Mac users one-stop shopping for software. Phil Letourneau, the User Interface Designer for Bodega, talks about their inspiration, why they decided on an application format rather than a web site, and the user benefits of buying through their service. Phil also explains how easy they’ve made it for developers to offer their software through Bodega, and provides some hints at future plans to make the service even more valuable to both new and experienced Mac users.
