MacVoices #7105 – Michael Horton Previews the Final Cut Pro Users Group SuperMeet, Final Cut Pro Under Leopard and More

Michael Horton
Michael Horton of the Los Angeles Final Cut Pro Users Group gives us a preview of the 7th annual Final Cut Pro Users Group SuperMeet at Macworld Conference & Expo 2008. The SuperMeet is billed as, “the largest gathering of FCP gurus on the planet,” and always lives up to the hype. In an early-bird look at the event, Mike talks about why they’ll be able to accommodate even more people this year at the event’s new venue, the fact that the sponsorships are all but sold out already, and how you can attend. Mike also provides some thoughts on the evolution, for better and worse, of big trade shows and why Macworld Expo remains different, some early reactions to the new Final Cut Studio pro apps and how Leopard affects FCP users, why his group’s November meeting is already sold out, and what they’re planning for December.
