Barbara DeHart
With the release of ScreenFlow 2.0, the bar on pro-level screencasting applications was just raised. Barbara DeHart, the Vice President of Marketing for Telestream, introduces some of the features that take ScreenFlow to the next level. Barbara explains how the inclusion of sophisticated transitions, audio ducking, freezeframe, a video timeline and direct publishing to YouTube, help accomplish their goal of allowing the user to complete a project without ever leaving the program. That’s not to say that ScreenFlow locks the user in; Barbara reviews the export options that let ScreenFlow fit into a pro-level workflow as well. Even though the learning curve is shallow for ScreenFlow, there are several communities that have grown up around the program, and Barbara discusses how they developed and how Telestream both supports and taps them to keep improving ScreenFlow.
