Mac user groups are primarily about people helping people, so in the still lingering wake of Hurricane Katrina, it isn't surprising to find a story like this. We talk to P.A.M. Borys of the MacWoburn Macintosh Users Group and Terry Pollard of the South Mississippi Mac Users Group (SM-MUG) about a new friendship that resulted from the devestation on the Gulf Coast area of the United States.

MacWoburn recently sent the first shipment of what they hope to be many "Rescue Macs" to SM-MUG in an effort to help replace equipment lost in the storm. SM-MUG is handling the distribution of the equipment in their area so it reaches those who need it most.

Find out how the relief effort got started and who you can contact to help.
